This classic Deep Ellum restaurant has been serving up produce-focused, modern American fare since 1998. It's (very cooly) located in the historic, century-old 1911-built Boyd Hotel building, known for hosting blues musicians like Leadbelly as guests, and Bonnie and Clyde as bar patrons. These historical ties have become part of the restaurant's DNA, especially the building itself, which lends itself to being illustrated and riffed on seasonally.
